I thought that before I cross the channel and continue my European Tour, I would take a run down the Thames as drawn by "Visual Flight London"...So here we go from West to East...

Well, there goes the first pair of bridges...The pretty one is Chelsea Bridge and the other is a Railway.

This one is Vauxhall Bridge and you can see Battersea Power Station with the four chimneys.

Lambeth Bridge, Westminster Bridge and the Silver Jubilee Bridge right under me. Nice views of the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.

That obelisk on the embankment is Cleopatra's Needle. The tower is the Post Office Tower.

There is the famous "Gherkin" glass building on the left. The nearest bridge is the Millennium Pedestrian Bridge, then Waterloo, Blackfriars and Southwark Bridges.

This is Southwark Bridge under me now. St.Pauls Cathedral on the right of picture.

HMS Belfast and Tower Bridge coming up.

I positioned a pedestrian with a camera on the roadway of Tower Bridge and this is the first shot he took.

Here is the VC cockpit as we approach Tower Bridge...In their wisdom, the makers of this scenery made only a small opening in the collision shield at this bridge and although I've been through a few times the right way up, I won't attempt it inverted...

Here is another shot from the pedestrian...

...as I commence an inverted loop over the Tower Bridge.

Here I am passing the vertical...

...and over the top...

...to vertically down...

...as the pedestrian is practically breaking...

...his neck to get pictures.

Out of the bottom of the inverted loop, with a good view here of the Tower of London, beyond the Bridge and the Gherkin over behind that.

Sweeping round the tight turn after Tower Bridge and working towards...

...the Millennium Dome.

Time now for the wheels and ...

...a half roll to the right way up for the...

...approach into London City airport.

All set for landing and the speed is about right.

Over the hedge with some Traffic about.

Touching down opposite the Tower.

And Parked for the night...I will set off from here tomorrow to cross the channel and on to visit Germany.

Thank you for looking at this rather long post

Regards,

Very nice shots Peter. All the way over here in Oz, I feel homesick!.
Haven't been back since they built the Gherkin but I used to work near the Lloyds building which I can also see modelled.

I'm assuming you have German Airports for your continuing trip?. This sounds like it will end up being a tour de force for some of the best add-on's out there.

Best Regrads
Warren
